BMW Malaysia has unveiled the all-new 2025 BMW X3 (G45) at the My BMW World event, introducing the latest generation of the popular SUV in xDrive20 M Sport trim.
Locally assembled in Kulim, Kedah, the new X3 comes with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) powertrain delivering 190 PS and 310 Nm of torque, blending performance with improved efficiency. The estimated price is RM349,000, placing it in the premium SUV bracket.
Inside, the G45 X3 showcases a refined cabin featuring tri-zone automatic climate control, a 15W wireless charging pad, and a 360-degree camera system — all designed to enhance comfort and convenience. However, early feedback from some buyers has pointed out the presence of hard plastics in the interior, which they feel is less than ideal for a vehicle in this price range.
Despite this, the new X3’s combination of mild-hybrid tech, modern features, and BMW’s signature driving dynamics ensures it remains a strong contender in the luxury SUV segment in Malaysia.
