The Malaysia Auto & Lifestyle Festival (MALF) 2025 isn’t just another event — it’s a full-blown phenomenon. A collision of speed and culture, engines and emotions, MALF promises to create lasting memories across two adrenaline-filled days that could redefine how Malaysians experience entertainment.
Happening at Sepang International Circuit on June 14 & 15, 2025, this festival combines high-octane motorsports, cultural showcases, and family-friendly lifestyle elements — all in one inclusive, open-air celebration.
Not Just an Expo — This Is Malaysia’s Soul on Display
What sets MALF 2025 apart from other auto expos is its spirit. It’s more than just a car show — it’s a cultural expression of modern Malaysia. At previous editions, the vibe was already electric, but this year it’s on another level entirely.
Think drifting battles? ✔️
Rare JDM classics and supercars? ✔️
Retro builds? Everywhere.
But what really ties it all together is that unmistakable Malaysian flavour — traditional dances, nostalgic local food stalls, and vibrant cultural bazaars.
Picture this: the scent of burning rubber mixes with sizzling satay, V8 engines roar while kompang drums echo nearby, kids chasing balloons next to a Ferrari. That’s MALF.
800 Cars, One Collective Dream
One of the most exciting highlights this year is the largest ever Malaysian car club gathering. Over 800 vehicles are expected — from vintage icons like the Datsun 510 to garage queens like McLarens and Bugattis. There’ll even be exclusive custom builds by local talents. This isn’t a casual meetup — it’s a national showcase of skill and passion.
There’s even a “Show Your Ride” segment where individual car owners can register and stand a chance to win mystery prizes. A golden opportunity for those who’ve been polishing their rides in silence to finally shine.
Free Entry, VIP Vibes
Here’s the kicker: MALF 2025 is completely FREE for everyone. But don’t let that fool you — the experience is far from basic. From pit lane access to demo stunts by legendary drivers, it’s the kind of thing you’d expect from a Fast & Furious set.
This year introduces a new zone called “Ruang Ekspresi” (Expression Space) — offering talks, car workshops, and meet & greets with Malaysian auto personalities. Influencer and host Budiey will moderate “Drive & Influence”, a session on the intersection of car culture and content creation.
Celebrating Malaysia’s Cultural Heartbeat
While tires screech and engines rev, Malaysia’s cultural soul takes centre stage. The festival features curated performances from across the country — ethnic Borneo dances, silat pulut, dikir barat, and drum shows from Indian and Chinese communities.
“MALF 2025 reflects who we are today — a vibrant, multiethnic society that’s always moving forward. It’s a festival for all Malaysians,”
said Malcolm Khoo, CEO of KL Works and the man behind the festival.
A Growing Regional Influence
What once started as a niche local event is now becoming a regional platform. Participants from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Brunei are joining in with their own communities, proving that Malaysia is not just watching the Southeast Asian auto scene — we’re leading it.
This expansion presents huge potential — not only for tourism, but for cross-border collaboration and growth in the creative economy. MALF now belongs to the region, not just Malaysia.
For Dads, Kids, Mums — Truly Family Friendly
A festival isn’t complete if the kids are cranky — but MALF 2025 has thought of that too. There’s an interactive kids zone, ladies’ lounge with mini spa treatments, and local lifestyle booths featuring everything from streetwear to artisan coffee and sneakers.
Look out for the Auto Icons Show, a stunning custom motorcycle showcase, and a quirky highlight called “Coffee Run” — literally a run while carrying coffee. Spill it and you’re out!
And with Father’s Day weekend falling during the event, what better gift than a once-in-a-lifetime memory?
