July 26–27, 2025 — Serdang, Selangor:
Malaysia’s premier celebration of custom automotive culture, Art of Speed 2025, roared to life at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) over the weekend, drawing thousands of visitors with its vibrant fusion of modified vehicles, lowrider displays, and motor-inspired art.

More than just a car and motorcycle show, Art of Speed has become a cultural hub for creativity, craftsmanship, and individuality in the Southeast Asian custom scene. This year’s edition featured an eclectic mix of local and international builders, showcasing everything from radically customized choppers and cafe racers to wide-bodied tuner cars, classic hot rods, and air-suspended lowriders.

Crowds flocked to see head-turning builds such as hand-painted vintage Harleys, drift-spec Japanese imports, and fully restored American muscle cars — all presented alongside immersive lifestyle exhibits, automotive art galleries, and live pinstriping demonstrations.

“Art of Speed isn’t just about horsepower. It’s about heart, soul, and originality,” said one exhibitor, whose retro-mod Datsun 240Z was among the most photographed vehicles at the show. “It’s where builders, artists, and fans connect through shared passion.”

The event also hosted international guests from Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia, strengthening its status as a regional platform for custom car culture, while workshops and talk sessions gave attendees insights into the creative process behind some of the region’s most iconic builds.

Beyond the show floor, the event offered live music, mini swap meets, food trucks, and a vibrant marketplace selling everything from die-cast models to vintage clothing — making it a must-visit for fans of all things custom and counterculture.

Now in its 13th year, Art of Speed continues to bridge the gap between motor machines and art, offering a rare space where automotive subcultures, streetwear, music, and design intersect under one roof.

With another successful chapter in the books, the 2025 edition reaffirmed that Malaysia remains a creative force in the global custom scene — where every ride tells a story, and every detail is a statement.
